For me, the “it” is writing.

Sitting down to a blank page and plucking an idea from my head to explore under the light of the real world…it’s a terrifying exercise, even when done reasonably well. And executing well and accepting that you’ve executed well are two different things entirely.

Oh, that dreadful word: expectations. I will cast them aside in writing here, every day. Long or short, lucid or nonsense, each and every day.

It does get easier.
